67CEOS Foundation Announces Powerhouse Line-up of Keynote Speakers for Africa CEO Impact & Sustainability Meeting 2025
Johannesburg, South Africa — The 67CEOS Foundation is proud to unveil the programme and distinguished keynote speaker line-up for the highly anticipated Africa CEO Impact & Sustainability Meeting 2025, an high-impact gathering of visionary African business leaders, set to take place from 15 to 18 July 2025 in Johannesburg. The event, designed to coincide with Nelson Mandela International Day, is themed around purpose-driven leadership, corporate impact, sustainable transformation across the continent and the vision of the AFRICA WE WANT.
With top CEOs, government leaders, economists, and industry influencers presenting over the course of three days, each keynote address will offer deep, honest, and practical insights into how Africa’s corporate sector and government are shaping the future of sustainability, entrepreneurship, and economic justice.
DAY 1 – 15 July 2025 | 12:00–20:00
The meeting will open with a pre-recorded message of support from Mr. Nelson Muffuh, United Nations Resident Coordinator in South Africa, highlighting the UN’s shared vision for inclusive and sustainable growth across Africa.
A commanding lineup follows:
- Dr Ndidi Nnoli-Edozien, ISSB Member at the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation, will explore “Why Sustainability Disclosure Standards Matter”—an urgent conversation in a continent pursuing Agenda 2063.
- Hon. Stella Tembisa Ndabeni, South Africa’s Minister of Small Business Development, will address the importance of revitalising Africa’s MSME sector in “Revitalising Africa’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).”
- Lunga Siyo, CEO, Consumer and Small Business at Telkom
- Jason Quinn, Group CEO of Nedbank, will present a financial sector perspective in “Transforming Infrastructure Financing Models.”
- Thabile Ngwato, CEO of Rapid Innovation Group (Newzroom Afrika), will unpack the role of media and perception in “Building Brand Africa Through Strategic Storytelling.”
- The evening will close with Prof Bonang Mohale, Chairman of Bidvest Group, reflecting on “Corporate Philanthropy and Community Building” in the context of servant leadership and social capital.
DAY 2 – 16 July 2025 | 08:00–20:00
The second day dives into enterprise development, technology, and systems transformation:
- Saki Zamxaka, CEO of Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP), will lead with “Creating Opportunities Through Inclusive Entrepreneurship.”
- Mari Payne, Deputy Managing Director of Sesame Workshop International (South Africa), delivers an education innovation talk on “Education Technology – Bridging Africa’s Learning Gap.”
- Bridget Makhura, Chief People Officer, Clicks Group, presents on “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace.”
- Bea Swanepoel, CEO of Jozi My Jozi, will speak on “Smart Cities and Urban Development.”
- Dr Gamuchirai Mutezo, founder of Madam Waste, presents a compelling keynote on “The Circular Economy: Redefining Africa’s Future.”
DAY 3 – 17 July 2025 | 08:00–20:00
On the third day, the programme shifts focus to innovation, policy, and creative capital:
- Kizito Okechukwu, Executive Head of 22 On Sloane Campus, will discuss “Innovation Hubs as Catalysts for Development.”
- Hon. Lebogang Maile, Gauteng MEC for Finance and Economic Development, brings a macroeconomic perspective in “Africa’s Role in Shaping the Global Economy.”
- Obi Unique Kings, Founder & CEO of Solvent Digital (Nigeria), will spotlight the digital economy with “Africa’s Creative Economy as a Global Player.”
- Prof Mazwe Majola, CEO of the Worldwide Institute of Leadership and Development, delivers on “Ethical Leadership in Corporate Governance.”
- From Cairo, Oluranti Doherty, Managing Director for Export Development at Afreximbank, brings a pan-African health lens to “Reshaping Africa’s Health Systems for Resilience.”
DAY 4 – 18 July 2025 | 18:00–22:00
International Nelson Mandela Day Gala & Impact Awards Dinner
The conference will conclude with an elegant gala dinner on International Nelson Mandela Day, where all keynote speakers will return as honoured guests. Solly Malatsi, South Africa’s Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, will join the celebration of leadership excellence and sustainability impact.
The conference will be hosted by Sam Apata, Executive Convener of 67CEOS Foundation, with Mahlodi Kgatle, Head of Communications, as Programme Director. The Gala will recognise outstanding presentations and celebrate servant leadership in action.
